Good deal if you are in the market for 3 movies. I personally am going to stick with just the monsters inc deal unless I come into some more money and can combine to get cars. Not many other good movies to choose from on the list except cars.
I am usually not in the market for 3 BR's at a time but come on, $42.47 for Cars, Monster 4 disk and Up 4 disk, which I have not seen yet, if a steal of great proportions.
These BR's will hover around $15 at the lowest, $30 at the highest each for the next 2-3 years si right over $42 around the Holiday sis a steal.
If you were to buy the non Blu-Ray versions it becomes more expensive than buying the blu-ray. The 3 (cars,Up,Monsters inc) movies in Standard Definition DVD come to $49.97 with Free shipping. This is a real steal for blu-ray owners.

Is Up good?
Your crystal ball works for future prices, but doesn't do movie reviews???
As an aside/offtopic - I was going to angle for that 'Snow White thanks' $10 off that people were bragging about, but got shot down, saying I already got it when I bought Snow White. Anyone else get that response?

I think the extra $10 off was an error and they've finally caught on. I received it via Email 2 days ago, but the just about everyone that's tried it since has gotten shot down. I believe it was initially only for those that bought Snow White and didn't receive the $10 off on that disc, so it was to go on a future purchase. For some reason, it randomly applied it to others who had received the $10 off on Snow White and people that sent Emails were receiving it too. But, I believe that train has come to a stop.
Thanks OP, I ordered Up, Monsters and Cars too. Just an FYI. There is also a cars ultimate gift set coming out with the Cars bluray + DVD + 2 exclusive car figures. A gold lightning mcqueen and fire truck mater. It's 31.49, for that pack, but unfortunately the additional $10 off does not apply to that pack.
I did it last night with no problem, but today, Snow White was a Quick Pick discount item for me so I tried to place a new order for Up/Monsters/Snow White, but the DISNEYBD coupon would not apply.
I thought maybe it was the Quick Pick discount messing things up, so I emptied my cart and tried to place a new order for the same as yesterday, but the coupon still wouldn't apply. It is either dead or you are allowed to use it only once per account.
...
On a different note, why are so many people hot for Cars? That was a pathetic movie compared to Snow White or Cinderella, pretty much Pixar's only "miss" in its hit parade. Did everyone already order those two and so just are settling for Cars or am I missing something (like a new Cinderella release coming soon or whatever)?
...
I was going to get the Snow White gift set with the seven dwarfs (dwarves?), but it appears to come with the Blu-Ray in the DVD packaging instead of the Blu-Ray in the Blu-Ray packaging...disappointing.

Boys usually aren't into princesses. Hell, one of my twin girls is into superheroes over princesses. Go figure.
As for Snow White, just pick the other version. They're the same thing, just different cases.
Thanks for the heads-up about the Cars pack in the post above. I may consider Tinkerbell 2.

Good point though; I was thinking in the "adult" mindset where quality trumps subject matter and in the "parent of a little girl" mindset where boys are, fortunately, still icky.
Cocheseuga said: As for Snow White, just pick the other version. They're the same thing, just different cases. The individual movies have the option of the different cases, but the pack with the seven stuffed dwarfs has only one version and it comes with the DVD case. I could be wrong, but I didn't see two versions of the $49.49 pack. Not a big deal since we need more stuffies like we need a hole in the head, but would have been cool.
EDIT: Looks like they jacked the price up to $51.99 for the stuffed toy pack already.
Sorry, didn't see that part about the gift set. You're right, it does. You could always get a spare Blu case and print out a cover if you're OCD.

This maybe dumb, but does the Up combo pack come with both the bluRay and DVD or select one?
Tried to find answer on website but does not say clearly and does anyone know what are the 4 disk? Just more "exclusive info we need to know"? Thanks

The blue ray combo pack comes with 2 BD discs, a SD DVD and a Digital copy. It's actually specified in the title.

To order a case online with shipping (never seen one in a B&M store) is going to be at least $5 more, plus the hassle and time of finding the right sized cover art, printing, cutting, etc...all to end up with a product that looks like a pirated version on your shelf...maybe I'm OCD, but that's not for me. (I like the new smaller size cases for BR and HD-DVD...wish DVDs had used them originally.)
You would think the target audience of a movie package that costs 2.5x the standard movie would have already put the money toward investing in Blu-Ray technology so the package would have made a lot more sense to have the Blu-Ray packaging included instead. I don't think Disney thought that one through all the way. Or perhaps they did and the sales numbers are showing people are more interested in sticking with the DVD style packaging.

Promo code won't work for me (Up, Monsters & Bolt). This dead?
Looks like I was wrong, it is only a differnece in packaging. According to one of the pictures with a blue background here Snow White bluray and DVD
Also, I picked up Snow White on release day at Toy's R Us for $10 so you must have missed that along with the fact that Cars is a much better movie than Snow White.

I don't know why this is marked dead. Still looks good to me. Search for monsters inc, and on the page it has the buy together with up promo for 32.98 and also has this on the page

Kunai said: Fry's sells Blu-ray cases B&M.Cool. I've never seen a B&M Fry's (except the grocery store by the same name) in my life, but many people live near them I understand.
pstruhs said: I think there is a difference beside packaging. The special features come on the disc in the main format, so if you by hte DVD packaging, you will get DVD special features. If you buy Bluray packaging you get bluray special features. I could not confirm this though. That would be pretty significant if anyone can confirm. Thanks for the head's up. EDIT...Looks like packaging is the only difference. Good to know and thanks for checking on it.

Let's see...I've seen very little argument about Cars being the worst movie Pixar has made, so that would mean every movie Pixar has ever put out is better than Snow White, an AFI Top 100 movie of all time. Wow...Pixar was good, but I had no idea.
