good deal but it seems like Newegg is pulling a fast one because if you want to return it you only get 3 dollars as opposed to when shipping is free (your just subsidizing shipping through price), you get the whole amount back.

Also why couldnt they do the 1.99 ?
I dont agree with $3 business that you sited because IMO, Egg is not that cheap. But I do agree with the shipping, $1.99 or even $2.99 would have been much better but overall price is still good.

They have good reason to do that, just look at the reviews this card gets. This will cut down on returns.
I don't recommend this card. Instead go with the Asus dongle LINKED HERE
ASUS WL-167g IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 WLAN Adapter (pen-type) Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates 64/128-Bit WEP, WPA - Retail $16.99 shipped with code EMCMMLS52 4 out of 5 eggs on 145 reviews, better unit for just $5 more. Major difference (besides quality) is form factor, the Asus unit will take one of your USB ports. On the upside it will also work for laptops too, where the PCI card won't.
