Garmin™ nüvi® 350 GPS Receiver (Refurbished)

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3480192

Not a good deal, this is an old, discontinued model. You can get the current 255 for $100 delivered or the 255w for $130 delivered (factory refurbs with newest maps and 1 yr warranty).

From where? link plz...

FWIW, I bought this unit about 18 months ago (new, not refurb) for $150.....it is a great GPS but it's pretty dated at this point and I would think there would be better deals on GPS with text-to-speech for this price point or a bit more new....

Use google or try eBay. I typed in Garmin 255 and it shows as $99.99 @ TigerDirect. Don't know about s/h though, only did a quick search.

TigerDirect has the 255 factory refurb for $99.99. Free shipping on $100 and up so get a cheap filler or buy it with the leather case combo for $110 delivered. 4-5% ca$hback (FW or Bing) as well. You can wait and see if bing has another "TD sale" and get up to 10-15% back, but who knows when that will happen again?

I just got the 255 for one of the kids, I got a couple of lanyards for thumb drives (why did they quit including those with the drives?) to get the total over $100. The GPS looks and acts like new, has the 2010 maps on it, and includes a 1 yr Garmin warranty. Plain-ish Garmin box rather than retail packaging.

Either TD or Amaz0n for the refurb 255w for $130, less CB if you get it at TD.

This is the older model, but when you buy a refurbished from a retailer, register it with Garmin and then you should be able to download a map update (not sure about the 2010 maps) for a certain number of days. I have purchased refurbished items from TigerDirect and the first thing I do is register it with Garmin. I have the Garmin 350. On nice thing about it is that the display is fantastic. I have found the other lower grade Garmins to be somewhat grainy in comparison. The only complaint I have about the Garmin 350 is that it has an external antenna which sometimes can get in the way.

The same is true about the factory refurb 255 or 255w models - but you get the (it appears) faster CPU, internal antenna, and latest user interface.
