I needed to upgrade Quicken to be used with my new Windows 7 pro 64 bit from the .edu deal. Best price I could find today is on Amazon. I think it's part of their Friday deals. It's not as good as the Staples deal, but no coupons or rebates required. Free shipping too!

The last time I used Quicken ('08 version, I think) it was horrible. It was, by far, one of the buggiest programs I have ever used. The only thing good about it was the return policy. I couldn't believe a program that has been around as long as Quicken could be so horribly coded. Never Again.
Edit Why all the red? Don't believe me? Look at the Amazon reviews for the version I had.
I installed Windows 7 64-bit and had no problem re-installing Quicken Deluxe (2008, I think). It has been working fine for me. Are you sure you need a new version of Quicken?

I have Quicken 2008 working in Windows 7 64-bit as well. We won't need a new version until April or May of 2011, when 2008 goes off into the sunset (policy). Then we won't be able to connect to online services.
Just finished installing Quicken 2008 Deluxe in Win7 64bit. No problems at all. Still have sitting in the box unopened Quicken 2009 Deluxe (from a FAR deal last year).
But was looking to get 2010 Deluxe FAR again this year, but doesn't look like it. Did not get it at straples when it was $10 AR, and now it's not less than $20 AR with TTax (which I will get anyway)....

Can this print checks? Do they sell preprinted checks for it?
