Finally broke down and bought the MultiFunction Tool at HarborFreight. They also had the accessories on sale at the store - Diamond Cutter Blade, 65983 or 67264, reg. $12.99 for $5.99 Half Moon Cutter Blade, 67279, reg. $7.99, for $5.99 3 Blade Cutting, Scraper Set, 67261, reg. $9.99, for $5.99 6 pack sandpaper Triangles, 65985, reg. @3.99, for $2.99
They were located on a display at the front of the store. They had a good deal of inventory on each product.
Went to Home Depot across the street and they were selling the sandpaper for $5.99 a pack, for a price comparison.
For the price, I really like the MultiFunction tool I purchased from HF. I used this to cut through drywall in the garage ceiling, and there was much less of a mess (dust) using this tool than when I previously used a jig saw for a similar task. I also used the "blade" to clean adhesive and roofing material from the bottom of aluminum "feet" that supported solar panels (new roof installed). This tool made that job *possible* -- I would likely have given up without it. Great tool for the money.
