Since they won the World Series, people may not want these, but Sports Authority has some great deals on Yankees ALCS gear. I was away on business and stopped at the store in Sunrise, FL (Sawgrass Mills Mall I think) and they had the "Official Clubhouse T-Shirt" (adult sizes) for $4.97 each (originally $25 - still available @ Modells.com for $24.99). They had kids sizes too for, I think, $1.47. They also had the AL Champion hats for $9.97 ($29.99 at Modells.com). I got 2 shirts and a hat for just under $20.
Given that it's B&M, this is obviously a YMMV, but figured I'd share in case there are other Yankee fans out in FW-land. I'm back home now and will try to check one of my local Sports Authority stores to see if the deals are there too. Of course, since I'm in NYC, I don't know if they'll actually have any left...
To each his / her own. Regardless of team loyalty, a deal's a deal. If they had Phillies NL Champ stuff, I wouldn't have bought any, but I still would have posted. If they had Red Sox Wild Card champs stuff, I probably would have bought one just for laughs...
I love all the red I'm getting for 80% off shirts and 66% off hats. Would love to know if people think it's a bad deal, or if it's simply bitter, anti-Yankee sentiment.
