Not that it's necessary here, but they always price match.

We've used the same set of All-Clad for over a decade and I'm sure it'll be around long after I am. Great stuff!

And on to a pet peeve of mine regarding truth in advertising, the pan may be made in the US but the lids are not. This is absolutely not a big deal to me as a functional concern but they do bend the truth a bit with their "Made In USA" claim. That said, they have excellent customer service and if you ever have a problem (unlikely), AC will take care of it with minimal hassle.

This is the pan the Cook's Illustrated has recommended for the past few years. You can see what/how they tested it: http://cooksillustrated.com/equipment/overview.asp?docid=18250 but you can't see the results unless you subscribe (hint: this pan won).

I got one a few months ago for the same price (local store, no shipping). This pan is a workhorse and will last a lifetime.

$82.14

the trigger onthis one has been pulled. (for lack of shorter, more concise phrasing)

Guess this post is somewhat old. But I hadn't seen it and price is the same now as originally posted. This pan/lid always seems to be $89.99 when I check it so pulled the trigger.
