This is the maximum strength 12 hour timed released Guaifenesin 1200 Mg, not 600 like the regular strengh 12 hour or 400 like the 4 hour tablets and this is good to use for alergies as well as colds to prevent sinus infections.

WalMart was selling 20 tablet bi-layer Mucinex 600mg guaifenesin for $5 a box last night (Simi Valley, CA) marked down from $9.95ish.

Probably 600 Mg, rather than 1200 and may have been on clearance due to a short expiration date.

$20 for 100 = 20 cents each for the 12 hour 600 Mg is the price I sometimes see on eBay, but the 1200 MG are usually more than twice as much at about 50 cents each.

You can take two of the 12 hour 600 Mg and that will often cost less than one of the 1200.

.I think they have changed the packaging recently so there may be some good clearance deals out there now to clear out the older package style.
