Got me one. PM'ed to BB and used $10 coupon. Manager didn't care but he didn't know that there was a MIR. The clerk made a face when she saw the rebate print out. But I'm not too happy with the fact that flash does not popup automatically. It's probably going back.
I did compare SX120 & SD780. Yes, they are not in the same product family. But at this price, sounds SD780 is a better deal. And rating of SD780 is also higher than SX120 if you read various reviews. SX120 uses 2 x AA batteries. I am very nervous on this point. According to my experience, any Canon DC takes/took 2xAA batteries has/had an issue of short-battery life, Canon A5xx family, A7xx family... For this reason, if using AA battery, I prefer Canon A6xx, or S5/S2. Otherwise, I go Canon SDxxx family, which uses Li-On battery. SDxxxx looks a little cheap (very plastic), not my favorite.
