So I sit here on my breakfast table and read the ads in my newspaper. Oh, look, a Staples ad. Look, something for free after rebate. Look, it is more than $75. Runs off to post. Forgets to search and see that this has been posted and reposted already. Sigh
Or if buying coupons is against your religion, you can just use the printable 10% off coupon and buy it in the store and make a couple of dollars after tax (depending on your tax rate).
When submitting the rebate, remember that you can request a check instead of the Visa debit card, it's the last step before you click submit. You can also request a Staples gift card (although I'm not sure why you'd want to, unless you were doing this for a business and getting cash would cause problems).

Any bank will convert these visa cards to cash on the spot, most at no charge. I have been opting for the visa cards.
One caveat is that the visa cards that you can buy in store at office max, and probably Staples as well cannot be converted.

That is why posts should not include sales tax as it varies from 0% to ~10%. Most people are intelligent enough to realize that they have to consider sales tax, CRV, etc. if applicable.
