* Ultralight electric snow thrower * 7-1/2 amp electric motor throws snow to 20 feet, cuts 6-inches deep and 12-inches wide per pass * Durable plastic body; metal handle; minor assembly required * 15 by 12 by 52 inches; 12-1/2 pounds * 2-year warranty
I owned one before. It is cheap and easy to operate (compared to real snow thrower). But it only works in shallow snow, probably no more than 4 or 5 inches. I sold it at a garage sale and bought a more powerful one.

Toro 38361 Power Shovel 7.5 Amp Electric Snow Thrower
Another vote for decent electric shovel! This thing is GREAT for areas where that big-hoss snow blower can't get to (like steps). For light fluffy snows, I keep my leaf blower gassed up to clear the sidewalk and steps.

Same price as Target this week, but I like the idea of having it delivered Good power broom/shovel. Makes my neighbors jealous, just be careful when they all want to borrow it. I caught one trying to use it like a snow blower forcing it through 16" of snow and bogging the engine down.
Great for the western lighter snow I've got in Colorado, but would have bogged down in the wetter stuff in Ohio, for example.
It's as hot as that $600 bbq posted here earlier that's why. It's hard to find the "hot deals" in this forum these days since everying 5-10% off at Amazon is posted here by some of you.

Target websiteI haven't checked this year, but in years past it has always been $99.99 regular price. I purchased some on clearance a few years in a row at end of season for $25.
If I have less than 6 inches of light fluffy snow, I use a 3' x 5' sheet of plywood to push the snow off my driveway. Looks something like this.
I am in pretty good health and do not recommend it for everyone.
EDIT: The plywood is 1/4" thick. The light stuff.

I am very tempted but for New York snow I am not sure this can make me happy specially since it only throws forward. what is my next option with FW price?
OP...don't get all up tight about posting a deal that is $80 everywhere else. It is still a decent price for a good item. I was just stating there were other options available as well. The reason I posted the Target website is so that you can get CashBack on the deal....

I bought this for my dad a few years ago from target. Works really good according to my mom It was on sale for $99.00 @ Target back then. Good for quick cleanups and pathways. It can clear up to 6 inches in a single pass, but if you get a blizzard, you'll be out there a couple of times. Not too cumbersome to use. Cheaper than a snow blower!
