Every $25 worth of gift cards purchased = a card for a free slice of cheesecake. No additional purchase is necessary when redeeming the free slice of cheesecake card and it is fully transferable.
For example: $25 gift card = 1 card for free slice of cheesecake $50 gift card = 2 cards for free slices of cheesecake etc etc in multiples of $25.
Also, 1 gift card for $10 and one gift card for $15 purchased together = 1 card for free slice of cheesecake. Easy way for some small gifts.
Nice! I love the holidays when all these restaurant GC promos come around.

green for the deal, red for the restaurant. recently ate at cheesecake factory for first time in a long time, and they've started printing calorie counts on the menu. they wont even print the nutritional information on the website, but put up the following: "At this point, we do not provide nutritional information for our menu selections. We pride ourselves on using only the freshest and finest ingredients available. Everything on our menu is made in-house on a daily basis so that we can maintain the highest food quality standards."
we all know that eating out is bad, but would you have ever guessed that the sweet corn tamale cakes appetizer has 1800+ calories?
I'm on it, chief. I have been known to buy the whole cheesecake. White Chocolate Macadamia Nut. Freeze each slice. open when needed. I will need one tonight!

Not a bad deal if you want to go to Cheesecake Factory. Its pretty much guaranteed that if you bring your girlfriend shes going to make you pay for 2 slices of $8 cheesecake, one for her, and one for yourself so she can try that one too...
Sounds like when Joey bought a plate of French Fries as a buffer, in the show "Friends", so his date would not eat the food off his plate, since: "JOEY Doesnt SHARE"

Green for you! I've been forced to sit through three awful meals at this ridiculously overpriced restaurant, and got sick 2 of those 3 times. This chain should be closed.

Overpriced? I'm not sure where you are, but in Chicago its one of the cheaper options for eating out, and the food is always great. Great deal OP!

Thanks for pointing out this good deal to those who choose to eat at Cheesecake Factory. For those who don't, go find a PF Changs thread to crap in.
1 bad experience = bad luck 3 bad experiences = bad restaurant
Then stop going to that location. Plenty of people have eaten at the Cheesecake Factory without getting sick or having a traumatic experience (myself included).
Is it possible to buy 5 $5 GC's to equal $25? Or do they not sell them so low? If it is possible very green in CA since you can cash out any GC's under $10 (right?). Buy a bunch of $5 cards, get the free cheesecake card, use free cheesecake card, cash out $5 cards to get your $25 back.

Is there a link somewhere ? Also will this deal be available online ? Or do you have to go to their restaurant and get the GCs ?

I guarantee a serious headache if you try to do that, and good luck convincing a restaurant manager of California law. Its amazing to me you would even think something like that is worth the time and hastle just for a slice of cheesecake...
As for the online question I believe the answer is no, this is going to be in stores as they set up the holiday displays.

I went there last nite, it's also known as Golden Corral. I weigh about 175 and I was the smallest person there, including the women. Some of the kids were bigger than me.
Thank you for alerting us to the Cheesecake Factory offer. I don't understand the need for "conversation" concerning this deal. The added value of fabulous free cheesecake when buying gift cards is evident and sweetens the purchase. Personal preference for individual restaurants should not come into play. If I want to eat at Cheesecake Factory I hope I have enough sense to go because I like the food and am willing to cut calories for a few days after. Timely post as many will be looking for gift cards this month.

Anymore details on the actual promotion? When it starts? Can they be purchased online? Is it automatic, or do you have to request the free slice? Do they free slices offer expire?
thx

Me likee. I hate this restaurant. It's always a madhouse. The food is generally quantity over quality with big monster plates that taste great for 2 bites. But this deal is super green. I can buy all the stupid gift cards my wife gives to her family for Xmas and get the freebie cheescake for me! Take out gift cards, take out free cheescake. No fuss, no muss. Me likee!!

I don't even eat cheesecake, and the only time I've ever been to CF I didn't care for their food (I'd rather go to Yardhouse or BJ's), so it doesn't make a difference to me. I was just saying, isn't it possible? Because I guarantee there ARE people out there who think it's worth the time. My gosh, calm down.

Here's some food for thought... AMEX Rewards can yield $25 Cheesecake gift cards. I usually cash them all out for GC's towards the end of the year (mix between CPK and CK Factory). Would this work out? Where did you find the info on the deal and when does it expire?

According to Steve at the West Palm Beach Cheesecake Factory the card promotion will not begin until the day after Thanksgiving. They will be giving a certificate for a free piece of cheesecake for every $25 spent. However, the certificate is not useable until after Christmas.
This is a great deal, but I'm wondering if anyone can find an entree that's less than 1200 calories at CF. Cannot be a soup or salad (those are not entrees!)
