my verizon contract: (6mo free, 29.99/mo there after, 3Mbps) is expiring so i was excited to see dslextreme's new promo. 29.95/mo 6Mbps (12mo contract) 19.95/mo 1.5Mbps (12mo contract)
too bad, my landline is owned by verizon and dslextreme can't offer me their above promo. perhaps some of you can take the deal in case you haven't seen it.
I just checked my mother's address in Brooklyn (a Verizon number, but Verizon dumba**es don't even offer DSL at her address) and it came qualified. Thanks, OP. beats expensive Cablevision services.

My contract just expired with DSL Extreme (and I'm ending it), at the least; they have been really great people to deal with. Customer service is top-notch. Too bad my DSL max here is 3mbps (for $27.95) or else I would stay with them. For that speed/price, I had to switch.
Bonjour DSL Extreme, it was a good ride while it lasted.
I had a contract (12 months) with DSL extreme 3mbps that ended a few months ago. I paid $19.99 monthly until my contract ended. My contract is over, yet I am not leaving.
Their customer service, tech support is really one of the BEST in the business. I had to talk to them a few times, and they are VERY helpful in fixing your problems. I once had a problem with my router configuration. It was not a problem in any way related to the internet provider. Nevertheless, they patiently helped me with my problem until it was fixed. You just can't beat that and their 1-2 min wait time until someone speaks with you on the phone.
This company is SO much BETTER than AT&T, who I had before DSL Extreme. If you are looking for service, go with this company. You can't lose with them. Attractive pricing, good customer service, and a very reliable internet connection. What more could you ask for?

I signed up a few weeks ago for their fiber (FIOS) plan - 10 mbps for $39.95/mo. Very pleased so far. Verizon was a lot more for the 15 mpbs plan.
Clicked thru the link and found that DSL Extreme only offers service with a landline. No dry loop service Maybe they have different packages for different areas?
