This is the CAI version of the famous Spanish CETME rifle. Pre-Runner to the H&K design, with the acclaimed roller-lock system. It is in 308 caliber, with a 20rd steel magazine. Has a rugged black polymer stock set, and a birdcage flashider. Excellent condition, an unusual addition for any Military rifle shooter. LINK ATTENTION: Firearms ONLY ship to an FFL holder (or C&R if eligible). If you do not have an FFL (Federal Firearms License) then you must find one in your area to do the transfer for you, and you must enter their address as the shipping address on your order.

For me, it's a toss up between this rifle and the FN FAL when it comes to survival after the zombie apocalypse comes. High power cartridge, accurate, semi-auto, with a box magazine. Great for those long distance all-important zombie headshots. The FN FAL seems to have a more extensive history as a field-proven battle rifle.

how much do these normally cost? Or are they just a rare find to begin with?

Are these surplus? I'm saving up for a M1A for zombie hunting

the cetme 308 is hit-n-miss as to getting a good gun. CETME century arms is low budget builderv - many times with surplus parts. IF you like to tinker with your guns it is a good deal. I would not expect it to run great "out of the box".
That said - I may get one cause I LOVE the HK91 design and I know what to do to get it runnin good.500$ is great price.
search you tube for many videos on info and problems with these - also calguns.net
