This is Lowepro's smallest SLR camera lens case. Internal size is 3x3x3.5 inches, which fits most SLR kit zoom lenses or smaller prime lenses. The case clips on to your belt or can be dropped into your backpack when you don't want to carry around a padded camera bag. Case is padded and water resistant.
I've bought Lowepro stuff from this vendor several times in the past with no problems.

Everyone else is $15. I have also purchased a couple of other LowePro products from these folks. Shipment is very fast, and all appears first quality/new/genuine.
They must have some good LowePro connections because they frequently run specials like this on Lowe stuff.

I bought one (1S) of these cases from them and it doesn't appear first quality. The sewing isn't right and the case isn't symmetrical. I don't find Lowepro products to be of such high quality as other people seem to think, I mean they're better than others, but they're still made in China... I just don't find their MSRP justified. But $5 shipped is a good price, I wish they had the larger cases for close to that
edit: The best price I found before this was $10 on sale at Best Buy some months ago.

Doesn't seem to fit the canon 55-250mm lens that so many bought with canon T1i recently (it is 4in long), but will fit the 18-55mm lens. Is there a good price for one that can fit the longer one?

If you click on the "lens cases" tab on the left side of their web page, they have other sizes (at higher prices). These cases are not cheap. This is the first time I have ever seen one selling for less than $10. You can compare prices at popular internet camera stores like Adorama and B&H.

Got 2 of them along with a CF card wallet. FYI the lens case 1S fits the Canon 85mm f1.8, and Canon 50mm f1.4, but both have to be without the hoods. Well you can just cram the 50mm with the hood, but its really too tight.
