I was referring to the rumor that WalMart was going to have a Wii Console for 199 with a 100 GC, but it appears the deal is going to be for a BB.

Will it include the Blackberry Bold 2 9700 either from AT&T or from T-Mobile? Also, will it apply for contract renewal (AT&T, 2 years)?

This seems like a great deal considering I need a new cell phone AND I'm getting $100 free to shop with! Green for you OP!

btw, here are all the Blackberry's that WalMart sells: Blackberry @ Walmart

seems like the 8520 is $79 after instant rebate with contract extension, so $100 would make it free + $20 back.

I hope the new BB Bold will be available for tmobile on walmartz site on 11/16. I am due for an upgrade and getting a $100 will be a lot better than what TMO will offer me.

yes, need a (2)year service contract :/

I just saw a WalMart commercial advertising the BB, did not see anything about a Wii, so I would not get my hopes up on the Wii

What is the cancelation policy? Can I cancel the plan after one month? how much I will be charged, any idea? can the bold be unlocked to be used with other carriers? . Is this available in STores? Appreciate your feedback

Regards

Went by local WM (SA) and they told me that you do need to sign up for a data plan (unless you already have one active). She said it's been a Tmo/BlackBerry requirement for about 3 months now. Not sure about your second question.

The BB 9700 is out of stock!

Most Blackberry's require you to have data, it is required by T-Mobile. Only the Pearls and the Flip are exempt from this. The new 9700 is online only through partnership with Lets Talk Wireless. I am on a grandfathered T-Mobile plan and they refused to upgrade me unless I changed plans. The 9700 is not in the WalMart stores, at least not in the Chicago area because I went to a few and called many. Also the $100 is via mail from what I have read, it is not instant. Hope this helps

I was just at my local WalMart and they told me they are extending the $100.00 giftcard until tomorrow the 21st. I also saw in my store that they now offer the Verizon 8530 for 28.88 + the giftcard.
