without going into the merits/demerits of a $500+ stroller, this is a great price on this one...i remember considering this stroller but decided not to spend $750...
but in anycase - great price!

what's the real difference between bugaboo frog and cameleon?
Thanks OP, in for 1. They never go onsale and the most discount ever is like $50 bucks. for the Frog, it's not uncommon you can get $400 or so on the craigslist.
Agreed, great price on the Frog. The one thing I didn't like about it is that it doesn't collapse in one piece...you have to take it apart. We went with the Bee instead, which is the same price as the Frog with discount.

•The Bugaboo Frog does not feature: •A height-adjustable handlebar •Adjustable suspension (Frog has suspension too, but the suspension is not adjustable). •The Bugaboo Frog has a smaller under seat basket

sends a bad message to the child --- the money needs to go in the childs retirement plan Unless you lose the stroller, it will not cost you $500. Keep the user's manual and all the accessories. Maintain it well. After your kids graduate from the Frog, you can easily get $350-$450 on Craig's List since Frog normally sells for $759 and almost is never on sale (assuming you live around a major metropolitan area. If you live in a rural area, there probably won't be a market for it). You may end up paying less than buying a cheap Graco.
This is what happened to me. I bought a Graco Quattro Tour travel system with an extra car seat base on Black Friday, paying $150 instead of the $250 regular price. I sold it later on CL for $65. Net cost: $85.
I also bought a used Bugaboo for $350 on CL. I later sold it on CL for $400. Net gain: $50.
If you buy a brand new Bugaboo, you will end up paying some money, even if you sell it on CL later, but it won't be as much as many people think.
This is the message you send to the kid: the best thing may not cost the most money. For the same reason, many FW members have stayed at Bellagio with a Holiday Inn price.
