I am looking for a decently equipped Dell desktop. There don't seem to be ANY deals on them now (or if there are, they kind of stink compared to a couple months ago) But I guess we all got spoiled pre-Windows 7. Anyone expecting a sale this weekend or do I have to wait until Black Friday?
Sigh I remember the days of 30% off coupons in the Dell Outlet. I used to frollick through their inventory in my flip flops and roll around in the dented boxes. Those were the days. (With my Chicken biscuit)

Not that great of a deal. Especially when you consider the lenovo deal that was just posted for $270 shipped with almost identical specs, but no monitor, although it's now expired. point being, great deals come and go quickly, so keep your eyes open

Any thoughts on which of these two configurations is better? It's for my wife. No gaming or anything.
