bought mine last week at HD for 499 - lowes 10% + free Ridgid stand. According to the Ridgid Rep that I talked to at HD, the Milwaukee is the best 12" slider. The Bosch 12 in slider moves over time, I know that. The Mikita, I'm not sure of. The Rep also went through why the Milwaukee is better than the DeWalt, Mikita, and Ridgid. Basically something like it's the only one that has 3 ball bearing sets in the slides, 70% dusk collection (I can attest to this), and stainless steel detents would be the competitive advantage. I'm happy with mine. Did get a better blade that rocks!
