Both our posts were at the same exact time - fatwallet history?

Gamespot review is a 7.5

Overlord II Review

The review convinced me against it.

I wouldn't trust a gamespot review myself....

7.5 out of 10 is still good. Especially when it's a handful of dollars.

sorry to disappoint, but you must not have been around a bit ago when 6-7 people would post that Woot had a website every night at 1am.

Ok, then, how about these:

IGN Review - 6.3 out of 10

Metacritic Review - 7.9 out of 10

Are there any reviews you WOULD trust?

I guess a woot off necessitates mass deal posting to garner internet points!

As for the reviews go for the game: I wouldn't rely on them 100%. Most of the reviews were written by people that only played bits and pieces of the game - not to its entirety.

In the end, I really think you need to play the game personally to see how much YOU like it. There are many games that I have enjoyed (and others) that have gotten reviews below the 80-100% echelon.

I like 1up.com

played it on the 360 and it was worth the $20 i spent on it at the time. Its quirky and quite humorous and the game play changes enough to keep you interested. Think fable style graphics with a bit of lemmings mixed in.

thanks op

The first one was fun enough to warrant the usual $5 deal. They probably would have sold many more downloads if they had priced it that way. At least one more from me and probably more.

In for 1. Played the first one, want the second. It is really fun to send the minions ravaging.

LOL, you can actually buy the first one from that site for $1.50, at least that's what it says in the link op posted.
