Bought the Dell Inspiron 15 for $549 via their FAST TRACK (ready to go laptops) today... free shipping and CashBack it's about $515 without tax, and they give 6 months interest free if you use DPA. It seems like a solid offering with the dual core, memory upgrade, hard drive size, webcam, Windows 7 and free shipping. Seems as good, if not better than the Black Friday listing above, as it's hard to know if they'll be offering free shipping or the 6 mos interest free with that deal.
Not to be a buzzkill, by BF deals in general have sucked for at least a couple of years. Good deals will still pop up here and there in the next couple of months, but BF has turned into a gimmick for the sheeple. The real deal shoppers will pick and choose a few good deals throughout the end of the year. But don't put too much faith in Dec. 27th.

You guys got this thing all wrong. This is marketing scheme. This is leaked, so that everyone will see how pathetic it is. Then Tuesday before thanksgiving, they will come out with the real ad. People will be in a fanic, and even though those prices won't be much better, everybody will jump on it.
It's all about marketing this year. Wal-Mart is offering their "deals" right now and have been told to not to use the word "Black Friday", but to use the word "Big Even". Like that is going to stop people from trampling others.
I am already feeling good, as I have two of the $250 worst buy laptops from this Wednesday, another so called "error" by store employees. It was just a marketing gimmick to create demand for higher priced laptops on Black Friday. Oh no, the cheap laptops were already sold. May we interest you in this slighly higher priced laptop, and you will need the extended warranty, cause the batter alone cost $100 to replace.
