$20 Refill Credit for $10 - T-Mobile Prepaid - Expires Dec 11, 2009 DEAL OVERVIEW: T-Mobile is offering a bonus $10 of refill credit whenever you refill with a credit or debit card from now through Dec 11, 2009.
note: May be targeted to select users. not confirmed if for all customers
HOW TO GET THE DEAL: Just refill your account and the credit should be automatic.
MORE DETAILS: I got the following text message on my TMO prepaid phone with the deal details. It is quoted word for word: Quote from T-Mobile Text Message : Free T-Mobile msg: Get a FREE $10 prepaid refill! Just buy a refill w/ a credit/debit card by dialing *ADD or visiting tmobile.com/prepaid. Offer exp. 12/11/09. Since the minimum refill credit is $10, the best way to maximize the deal is by refilling $10 at a time. If you pay for a $10 refill you get a bonus $10 credit. Pay for a $100 refill, you still only get a bonus $10 credit.
The offer did not specify if this deal was one per account, or if it was stackable (ie could you do multiple $10 refills and get multiple $10 bonus credits that way).

Unless you use over 300-mins/month on average, and no texting.. prepaid on T-Mobile is the best bang for the buck. Shouldn't be any stigma for using prepaid, you get to enjoy not paying all the taxes and fees that the post paids do.

This guy did....
35% Cash Back for TMobile through Live Search has been discussed in a few different threads. Since the question whether purchase of refill minutes would qualify for this Cash Back is scattered through different threads I decided to start this thread to answer this question.
After you have been redirected to T-Mobile website click on “Prepaid” at the bottom of the screen.
Click on “Refill Options” on the left of the screen.
Click on “Refill someone else’s Prepaid account”. (At this point if you added minutes by logging into your T-Mobile account you will NOT get an order confirmation with a Reference number).
After the order is complete you will receive an order confirmation page with Reference number, print this page and save it for future reference.
No Cash Back will show up in your account. After 2 days go to https://support.search.live.com/ and click on “After 2 days my transaction is not showing in my account” and fill out the form. Within hours you will receive an email, respond to that email and attach the aforementioned T-Mobile order confirmation page. The 35% Cash Back will be added to your account as “Pending”. (The CashBack amount will remain in your account as "pending" for 60 days from the date of purchase. Please be aware that if the merchant indicates that this order was returned, canceled or is otherwise not valid, your Cash Back may be canceled).
Be warned that even after your account has been credited T-Mobile may declare purchase of Prepaid minutes as invalid.
I got the text message (dated 11/12 4PM) and mine doesn't have the bonus offer. Just says:Refilling your prepaid bucket is easier than ever! Dial *ADD or visit tmobile.com/prepaid to refill w/ your credit/credit card!

I received the message at 6:26pm PST. It said $5 bonus on the next 2 refills. Guess I have to refill twice to get $10.

that's what mine said too, no bonus. Got the text 11/12. Don't need minutes currently any-who.
Just noticed that yesterday, I got the "Add $10, get a free $10 prepaid refill" text message. Don't know the targeting criteria, but FWIW, I have been on Tmobile prepaid for over five years, have over a $100 balance and use less than 30 minutes a month about. Now I have to wait until closer to Dec 11 to take advantage of extending a full year. Seems like a good deal.

junjunxu said: Got the text message and refilled $10 online but no bonus showed up. Same here. But a posting after this said the bonus shows up the next day, so that would be good. I kind of wish I bought the $25 card. The $10 card, even with being a gold member, gives lousy minutes per dollar.
PS - I just got the text message this morning, Saturday.

Just ordered a $100 refill before checking this deal. Kicking myself. can we combine this with bing CB ? i.e $6.5 for $20 credit ? (35% bing CB)
Can we do that multiple times ? I want to charge $100 to get a gold status, I guess the credit min are not counted towards gold status..

I got the message says "FREE $10 prepaid refill bonus on your net 2 refilles"
Does that mean I could get $10 for each of next 2 refills, or I have to refill twice, then get $10 bonus ?
I have two TM prepaids. One got a message with $10 bonus for next credit/debit refill and one with $10 for next two refills. Did the credit refill for the first one last night. Got the $10 bonus this morning. Have not tried the second phone yet. Wonder if it is $10 each for the next two refills or $10 total.
I have never got Text messages from Tmobile. Do I need to activate something in my prepaid profile? thanks
NM, found it, I had opted out on tmobile comm options: changed and got: "Thank you for taking the time to update your marketing communication preferences. Please allow up to 10 business days for us to fulfill your request." Had ran the phone down to $.33, hope the email come soon...
Even though I got the text message, and put $10 on my prepaid phone through the online method, I never got the $10 extra credit. In the end, not a very good deal. First, I had to pay tax. Second, $10 increments have a very high cost per minute rate. I think I will go with the other deals listed occasionally on this site. I got a $50 card for $44 a few months ago. No tax. No waiting. And I got 500 minutes for that $44.

where do I find the minutes rate on $10 vs. $50? I thought it is 10 cents a minute so $10=100 and $50=500?

Without Gold membership, $10 nets you thirty minutes. With Gold membership, you get 35 minutes. While they list $50 as only getting 460 minutes, last time I did it, I got 500. Five $10 cards gets you 175 minutes as a gold member. These lower increments are a real ripoff. They are only really useful if you have lots of minutes you want to roll over and your anniversary date is coming up.

However, if you are on the SideKick plan and use the phone mainly for texting, then this deal, using the 10$ refill, gives you unlimited text for 50c a day (i.e. half off). That is pretty good.

Were these offers regular text messages or SIM messages?
"Free T-Mobile msg: Get a FREE $10 prepaid refill bonus on your next 2 refills when you use a credit/debit card via *ADD or tmobile.com/prepaid. Offer exp. 12/31/09."
So I refilled last night online with a $10 refill card and got a text message this morning that i got the $10 bonus (35 minutes) added to my account.
So I wonder if I refill again before 12/31/09 if I will get another $10 bonus? Has anyone who got this message tried it?
I just use the link for BING Cash Back. DID NOT work. Connect with BING. They asked for receipt. Call T-Mobile. They refused to give any kind of receipt. LOST. Anyway, If you needed, make a copy by yourself. BE CAREFUL to play this kind of game. Form T-M: Dear X,

From BING.COM
Hello X,
Thank you for contacting Bing CashBack Customer Support! This is XXXX. I will continue assisting you with Service Request XXXXXXXXXX regarding your missing CashBack.
I apologize for any confusion this process may have caused. Thank you for the information you have provided. Unfortunately, the order confirmation that you sent is in an invalid format. Sometimes, when an order confirmation is copied than pasted, it can lose certain authentication information. Emails from merchants usually contain the company's logo, graphics, imbedded website links, and other information verifying the email originated from that specific merchant. In order to fully research your issue I will need that original order confirmation from T-Mobile as an attachment (preferably a .pdf, .docx, .jpg, .zip, or .eml file). Your order confirmation must show the price of each item purchased, the date of purchase, order number, subtotal, tax, shipping costs, and any discounts on the order. This documentation is necessary to authenticate your online purchase from T-Mobile. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience this matter has caused.
Thank you, X, for contacting Bing CashBack Customer Support.
Warmest regards,
XXXX

Your copy DOES NOT work, but T DOES NOT give any this kind of confirmation, but a free message telling you your balance without any information as BING asked.
Any way, you will response for your risk. I do not think you have enough time to talk with them.
