Great cookbooks, great price!

I didn't wake up thinking I was going to spend that $46 today.

Thanks OP!

These are great books- I got in on this deal last year, now I have to make sure I don't order the same books this year.

Thanks OP!

These traditional style recipes are not very healthy: cakes loaded with sugar, large chunks of meat, lots of cheese/butter and quite a bit of frying. The only thing edible is the salads, but for that you hardly need a recipe.

should get some foreign stuff, like asian recipes.

Congrats on epitomizing threadcrapping. Thanks OP.

Thanks OP I just paid almost as much for the Taste of Home Healthy Cooking magazine (which almost my whole Thanksgiving menu will be made from this year). I love the Taste of Home books and magazine because they are recipes contributed by readers and have different sections like diabetic, meals on a budget or for a crowd. I get a lot of cooking magazines and books, and that's always a fav. and a good gift for cooks because it's always different.

use 1062 for $1 shipping and a free cupcake stand when you buy the cupcake recipe book!

FWIW, you can download 25 TOH cookbooks for free: www.fatwallet.com/forums/free-stuff/953929..

I'm sure there are other lazies/incompetents/ignoramuses like myself who don't check the Freebies forum. If you can take it upon yourself to be our patron saint for such matters, and link to the more worthwhile ones occasionally, that would be great!

ROFL. I never used to look in the freebies section either and when I did I was amazed at what I was missing out on. I have not bought a razor years, get a lot of mp3s and ebooks, get to try a lot of products I would never buy otherwise (many of which are really good), etc. etc.

so in other words, you accept!

Thank you OP!! These will make great gifts for my friends (and myself)! Got the free cupcake stand and $1.00 shipping. I guess I have to start cooking again.

Two of the $5 books went up to $24.99 and $9.99 while they were sitting in my cart. You can see them on the first page of the link, Low to High, nestled among other $5 books.
