The Guitar Hero official Wired Xplorer guitar for X360 is available at toys r us for $9.99, link. This is the same price that is advertised for Black Friday, but why wait?
The X360 guitar is a USB interface. While not advertised, this is the same guitar that comes with PC versions of Guitar Hero 3 and World Tour. I have one and I can vouch that it works great with Guitar Hero 3 and World Tour for PC, and also for Frets on Fire for PC.

This guitar is the most basic of the basic guitars ever made, the whammy bar is too short, too stiff, so are the buttons, and even tho i am only 5 10, when i put this guitar on i feel like i'm playing a ukele. My gf who is 5 2 finds it fits her just fine. I actually had 2 of these and a world tour guitar, gave one of em away to a friend so they could have all 4 instruments. The cord is really short btw. But if you just want a spare guitar to have 4players in guitar hero, it does the job just fine, just have the player w/ the cheap guitar stand to the side, thats what we do!
