Make sure if there is a place to check "decline interest free financing offer" or something to that effect click it. The 10% is an either/or with the 18 months interest free. If that doesn't work, try clearing cookies and or using a different browser/computer. If that doesn't work I'd place the order and then call customer service to either get the 10% credited or cancel the order.
Yea, seems like I should get it. I tried on another computer. Just never gives me the "special financing" offer that you decline that I usually see. I'll keep messing with it, and try placing the order and calling if all else fails. Thanks.
Wow, that's a great price! I should point out, however, this set's relatively low contrast ratio compared to other plasmas. If I remember correctly, this set, despite its THX cert, isn't great at handling dark areas - everything has a sort of greenish tint. Remember to take a good hard look at it in the store.
Again, great price, but the reason it is so cheap is probably because the panel technology used is quite old - that's how they can get the THX cert and the great price.

Ordered with no way to apply Sears cc 10% off and called rep to get adjusted, rep would not adjust price, I canceled the order.
Please don't spread incorrect information - panasonic G10 uses the latest panel - neo pdp, which claims 4M contrast ratio, and low power consumption. It has the best black (except maybe discontinued pioneer), and arguably the best picture.
The Panasonic G10 series is the new king. No, it's not as good overall as the soon-to-be-extinct Kuro Elite, but it comes closer than ever in the arena of black-level performance, and mounts a good fight in just about every other field of picture quality, with the exception of some color accuracy issues. Panasonic steeped the G10 in extra features compared with its less-expensive brethren, adding a THX mode that's largely responsible for its excellent picture, along with VieraCast for access to a limited range of Internet extras. The downside, as always, is that it costs significantly more than lower-end models, but if you're looking for the best picture quality in a post-Kuro world, the Panasonic TC-PG10 series is the safest bet so far this year.
It beats any LCD/LED on the market. I personally own a 50' set, and I cannot be happier. There is a reason it got 5/5 review.

IMHO this is one of the best bang for your buck sets you can get, particularly at this price. The V10 is slightly better in a few regards but for alot more money. I think Cnet's review from Sept sums it up well:
CNET said: THE BOTTOM LINE: Panasonic's 54-inch TC-P54G10 offers superb image quality, plenty of features, and great value, making a strong bid for your big-screen buck.
If it was a good deal when people were paying ~$1800 for it, I think its a steal if you can get it under $1200!
I ordered also and I couldn't get the 10% using my Sears card. I called CS and got shot down. I then used the online chat feature and that person was able to help me. I think that worked out better because I could send them the direct link to the page it shows the 10% off offer. They said they will credit 10% to my order in 7-10 days. We'll see if it goes through.

Good price. You can also do the same deal on the 50" S1, which is another great set.
Ordered it yesterday, did the chat feature and was told that 10% would be refunded back to the credit card in 7-10 days. Will see if it goes through. My Q is, if it doesn't go through, is 1424.99+tax still a good price for the TV ? Also, what options we have ? Can we just return it or would there be re-stocking fees ?

Make sure you know the difference between the actual contrast ratio and the inflated numbers manufacturers are throwing around these days. A number of makers are now using circuitry that basically turns off the panel when its fed an all black signal. They then compare this to their white level when the set is showing a small white window, and say "look we have a contrast ratio of X million to 1!" This is number is pretty irrelevant to actual viewing, as the blacks are considerably lighter when the panel is not turned off by this circuit. This TV claims a dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, and native of 40,000:1. The second number is the one thats actually relevant. The previous generation Panasonic plasmas had contrast ratios of 30,000:1 and 15,000:1. Many manufacturers unfortunately don't even publish their native contrast ratios anymore.
Can someone tell me how you get the 5% off for F&F?
Also, if using a Sears CC does NOT give 10% off, will speaking to customer service DEFINITELY give the 10% back?

11/28/09 9:30am: (For the Panasonic TC-P54S1) I see now I can get 13% Bing and the 10% off for using my Sears MC is now showing up, so I guess I should cancel my first order placed on 11/24/09! Wonder if that will cause any Bing and or Sears issues?
I pulled the trigger now I will cancel the first order. $1,059.29 - Bing Cash Back $142.99 = Total cost $916.30 OTD
