Denied in IL. Tried 3 stores, gave up. Store manager at each location said the exact same thing - thought the ad was wrong b/c the MSRP was wrong.

Looks like I need to photshop the MSRP on this ad to make it look official, lol.

This may the the first gen, which does not have the volume control on the side and is somewhat thicker than than the 2nd and 3rd generation.

According to another website, this is a typo and has been confirmed by a CSR @ EE...they meant to put a 8gb nano or something else there.

i called the CS of the Expo and they said - its Miss Print, so this deal is NOT going to work incase if u want it

I tried two Staples and no go. They said it had to be a local, but no where on their website states it has to be within a certain distance to pricematch. I tried going through Staples chat and EE doesnt have an item number that will pull up. According to EE chat, they are sold out. So no PM to Staples.com. I think I could have gotten it, if I could get an item number to pull up.

Grabbed an ad from EE and went to Target, Union, NJ - said no b/c they could not find the date on the ad and nor could I. WalMart in Union had signs up dated 11/9/09 from some other company saying EE ad was a misprint. Tried one more target and had success! Thanks op!

I got my PM ad target in Linden, NJ and 2 employees were talking about buying one themselves and using employee discount (10%) on top of the PM...dunno if they'll get it though.

I got it to work at my local Target... with the printout, got lucky cause the representative did the same pricematch on monday and saw the real ad so he let me slide with the printout. Too late for anyone today, the last day to do it was yesterday. I've got to sell mine now though. I just saw my 80gb ipod classic and i've already taking up over 9 gigs so obviously 8gigs is not enough and $300 bux for the 32gig is too much.
