per reviewer - ! - this are made in Japan / so, re branded eneloops! $14.52 for 8 batteries aren't bad! plus a free two day shipping w/S&S !

I'm not sure how they can be eneloops.. these are just regular rechargeable batteries.. not the pre-charged.

Sanyo 1,000 mAh AAA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries (4-Pack)

white tops - green bottoms - same as eneloops / eneloops are made by sanyo (the best!!!)

I dunno... eneloop refers to the low self discharge type, right? These have very different specs.

Sanyo eneloops:

Duracell pre-charged are similar but still different:

if you want a higher mAh - ! - the way to go! have sonys and sanyos AAs and very happy with both! highly recommend!

the benefit of eneloops (charged!) - is !!! - it will stay charged longer and you don't need to charge before use (well! don't store this for too long!) / rechargeable batteries offer higher capacity - but will deplete the charge faster! good luck!

p.s. - both work very well!

These are different from the Precharged duracells. These need to charge beforehand, thus the cheaper price than the precharged ones. Amazon used to carry the precharged, but not since September.

costco deal is still good!

btw - I do prefer this batteries in devices like remotes w/RF / lasts longer! and gives a better performance to a RF function (don't know why ?!)
