Many posters are reporting finding an offer from $25-100 back even if a dollar amount wasn't included in their invite e-mail. So try a mock order at Newegg, etc to see if you have any "bonus" waiting for you!
Hello Mr. Cheap,
As one of our most valued customers, you’ve got a brand new choice from PayPal that lets you shop now, and pay for your purchases later. It's called Bill Me Later®.
It couldn’t be easier. First – select PayPal as your payment method. Second – sign in to your PayPal account. Third – choose Bill Me Later.*
Start your holiday shopping now at eBay or any participating PayPal store. Shop by 11/30/09 and get an exclusive offer – up to $100 off your first purchase and no payments for 90 days.
You're pre-approved to use Bill Me Later and take advantage of this exciting offer. This offer is exclusively for you and not transferable.
For Bill Me Later Account Terms see the Bill Me Later Terms and Conditions.
Terms of the Offer:
You'll receive up to $100 off your first purchase as a credit on your statement. If you spend less than the offer amount, your discount will be equal to the amount of your purchase (before tax and shipping). For example, if your offer is "up to $100 off" and you spend $5, you will receive a discount of $5. This offer does not apply to multiple purchases. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for this amount to be reflected on your Bill Me Later statement. It's a limited time offer that's only available through PayPal. Complete your purchase before midnight ET on November 30th, 2009 to receive this offer. Limit one per customer. This offer is not transferrable. When you use Bill Me Later, make sure the “Yes, I’d like No Payments for 90 Days.” is selected. If you do not want to take advantage of the “No Payments for 90 Days” offer, simply un-check the box. Bill Me Later will send you monthly emails when your statement is available.
If you pay in full by the promotion expiration date as listed below you will not be charged finance charges. For example if purchase is made in: Date to pay in full by to avoid finance charges (Promotion Expiration Date) November 2009 March 1, 2010
If payment in full is not made by the promotion expiration date listed above, finance charges will apply from the transaction date. If you do not pay off your purchase by the promotion expiration date, you will be charged interest at an ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE of 19.99% beginning on the posting date of the purchase. The Minimum Finance Charge is $2.00. If approved, CIT Bank will make a loan to you for the amount financed to pay for your purchase. CIT Bank will pay the merchant on your behalf to pay for the purchase. If you repay the amount you borrow (the amount financed) in full on or before the promotion expiration date listed above, you will repay only the amount financed, and CIT Bank will charge you no finance charge for the loan.

read all the fine print, but essentially yes. It's a one shot deal, so if you spend $89.99 on your first purchase, that's all you'll get as it's UP TO $100.

Good deal... I'm sure this is in the other thread, but Bill Me Later did a hard pull on my credit when I applied a while ago. Just a heads up.
I got the email for bill me later today, but no $100 offer.
It does say "Because you're one of eBay's best customers, we're giving you an exclusive offer on your first Bill Me Later purchase on eBay."
But this offers no clue as to what the exclusive offer is....

Thanks for the heads up. I was just going to ask about that.
FYI, I got in on the last round of this which was discussed in FWF. My credit hasn't posted yet, but it hasn't been two full billing cycles yet. I should know in a week or so though.
wow harder than it looks to find a store that has bill me later through paypal. I found one that was Paypal Me later, but I don't think that was the same thing.
Got one for $100 off and just used it. My brother got one for $0 off (didn't mention a dollar off amount at all) so apparently YMMV as pointed out above.

It looks like you don't know what your offer is until after you buy something using Bill Me Later? Is that true? I don't see anything in the email about anything off.

Why jump to this if your credit score is good? The cost is one hard check of your credit, and you can get more for a new credit card with this cost.

This is a hard pull to open an account, but then a soft pull after that. IMO this beats a lot of credit card offers, so the 100 bucks will be worth it to a lot of people.

Does it say $100 off in the email or do you have to use it to see what they give you?

yeah ive done a few stores ,and one didn't have the option at all, and another had Paypal me later (no payments for 90 days), but it didn't say anything about Bill Me later.
I'm a little worried that the hit to my credit might be worse than just a hard inquiry. Having companies such as CIT on my credit report might cause my scores to go down, even if I don't owe them any money, because they might be considered finance companies, whose normal business is to charge high interest rates to people who can barely qualify for any credit at all. The same kind of company that sends you checks in junk mail, such that if you deposit one of the checks you will owe them money at high interest rates, and sometimes fake checks, that just say you can get that much from them if you go to their local office to apply.
Order DJ Hero for Xbox 360 - coupon code: DJHERO for $30 off, and then its $89.99 + free 2day ship, then I used checkout via paypal with Bill Me Later, and was approved.
So I got DJ Hero for 360 for free. Now I will resell it on eBay or something for $100 profit, give or take $10.
I got the $100 offer, and used it last month to buy $190 worth of stuff at Newegg. Got my first statement a couple days ago, and the $100 credit was applied. So smooth sailing for me.
