Priceline bid, Sheraton Bloomington $39 per night.

Where did u get this info?

I too have stayed at the Sheraton Bloomington from a winning Priceline bid of about $40 - $45 / night. And there is no minimum stay of 3 nights listed.

This is an entirely smoke-free hotel

But none of the listed hotels are in downtown Minneapolis. That is a dealbreaker for me. (Previously stayed at the Millenium Hotel downtown for $50 a night through Priceline.)

I don't think Priceline will work - you have to use the promotion code SMK to get the offer.

Also - the Nicollet Mall location shuttles to downtown free.

That is what I thought too, since you have to book through their website.

I think the point people are making is that this is not a deal if you typically can get the Sheraton Bloomington for $40 a night on PL, especially if this rate code requires more than a 1 night stay.

if it's only a one nighter, i'd rather do this deal if u have the starwood card and if you could actually use the gift card or sell it for at least $90

Not sure whether to give this deal a green. The ratings on tripadvisor are marginal and the hotels just simply look outdated in the photos. Couple that with the fact that you could get the price on PL, I think it will stay neutral. Not a bad deal if you wanted to shop at Macy's anyways and have a starwood card like redskin said!
