there's the G71-343US on sale on black friday for $449 AR...(T6600/4GB/250GB)
the big difference is the 250gb HD; not too sure if there are any other differences between that and this G71-340US.

I could not find description/specs for HP Notebook G60-508US that will go for $299 after rebates on Black Friday. Does anyone know the details of this product? It only says: Celeron Processor 900, Screen 15.6", Memory 3GB, and HD 250GB...
Edited: I got some more info as follows: Intel GMA Graphics (Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M graphics. No discreet memory?), HDMI port, Web cam with mic, wireless B/G network (no Draft N).
Among unknowns are: Multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive w/ Double-Layer Support? (Not mentioned but I assume the answer is Yes.) Memory Type: DDR3 Memory? or DDR2? (I assume the answer is DDR2.) Modem ? (I assume the answer is No.) Modem port availability? ExpressCard/34 slot availability? Upgradeable to Draft N wireless LAN? (I assume the answer is Yes.) Memory Card Reader / Media Card slot?
