The easiest way to connect your PC to your Home Theater system!

Easily Connect Your PC to Your Home Theater System

The Creative Home Theater Connect DTS-610 is a standalone device that bridges the gap between your computer's audio card and your home entertainment system by turning any analog 5.1 signal into a high-quality DTS signal. High-quality, real-time DTS compression gives you the best sound quality and both coaxial and optical SPDIF outputs ensure that connecting to your home theater is easier than ever.

Play all the music from your PC through your home theater system incuding DRM-protected content, such as purchased MP3 files and DVD-Audio disks.
Experience interactive 3D gaming in your living room with a special real-time version of DTS encoding that offers the very best balance between performance and quality.
Connect your PC to your home theater receiver with one thin cable for consistent playback every time.
Share a single input on your home receiver between your PC and another digital device with the flexible digital pass-through mode.

Connecting Your PC to Your Home Theater Without DTS-610:
Without DTS-610 connecting your PC to your home theater involves long, messy cables, cable extenders and the chore of figuring out how to connect the multitude of cables to the back of your receiver.

Connecting Your PC to Your Home Theater With DTS-610:
With DTS-610 connecting your PC to your home theater is easy, just connect your PC to DTS-610 with a standard PC speaker cable and plug the optical cable into your home theater receiver. All the cables and everything you need is included in the box.

Have not been keeping up with PC video cards but I imagine this is cheaper now since the newer way is hdmi from your pc video card to receiver? Honestly, I have not checked. They got to be pretty expensive still?

I guess it's good if you still have an "older" 5.1 receiver and don't want to spend the dollars on getting a new one with hdmi/7.1

Hmmm... that puts me in the market for one.

I'm in for one, thanks!

Thanks OP. I want to try to connect my Wii to a Sony soundbar (takes HDMI and optical). Now a deal on Component+Optical->HDMI converters would be nice

Not to be a math-douche, but $25 is 75% off $99 list price. It is 66% off the $74.99 Regular price. Your post title is not accurate.

Still, green

And you are making up words to sound like you're writing English: "math-douche"????
And btw, $74.99 is the SAVINGS, not the regular price.

If Creative collects tax, then it's the same price at Amazon.
