I have a pair of these, and while bass heavy, they are really quite good for the size. You can equalize the sound with software, but the speakers themselves do not have those kind of controls. They were originally almost $100 when they first came out. I think these would make a nice gift for those who like bass heavy music or for movie explosions.
quite possibly the ugliest speakers I have ever seen.... still prefer a sep. subwoofer.... can't go wrong with a traditional 2.1 setup....like this one Text
