5-pack listed for $437.69 - 3% FW cash + $0 ground ship = $424.56

These are entry level WORKSTATION graphics cards, not gaming cards. This is a 5-pack of cards for price of one. This may just be an old item that hasn't been removed yet though; due to these being gDDR-2 and not gDDR-3.
These are on back order and it says call for availability, but you can actually still put them in your cart and proceed to checkout.
The only reason I'm posting this is because I figure there may be one person who wants to give it a go. The rest of the population probably wouldn't need a workstation card anyway.

Direct Link or go to PCConnection.com and search for firepro 2450, or the item number 9866644

The only other Firepro 2450 is a single "gift box" which is $441.15. Google shows these cards going for around $400 as well.

Normal price is $425/card? 512MB? What am I missing?

The part number shown 100-505532 is for a DDR3?

5 pack

5 pack

I saw that, just wondering why a 512 MB card is so expensive, I guess it is the dual GPU quad output. There is another item OOS for the multipack at $2K

The 2450 is GDDR3, at least according to ATI and the part number is the multi-pack
ATI Specs

I think you missed the point that it's a workstation/professional series card; not a gaming/desktop card. These are meant specifically for multi-displays. The 2450 supports up to four monitors on a single card.

Yup, got that too, just had no idea that they were $400 cards. But it does look like a deal.

Availability: On Order
Est. Ship: Call for Availability

Did anyone actually get an order accepted?

I didn't actually order it. I found it while I was searching for a different firepro.

YES! I would also like to point out these are NOT GREAT FOR GAMING. With workstation cards you are paying for the drivers...to optimally run Solidworks, AutoCad, etc. The weakest worstation card will DESTROY the top gaming graphics card on the market dude to these optimizations. This of course goes both ways as these cards choke playing games.

If you need a workstation card DO NOT BUY ATI, although ATI competes in the gaming world with Nvidia, in the workstation processing world their drivers are a few generations back...and so weaker Nvidia cards trounces ATI cards in workstation environments.

Here is an autocad comparison of ATI versus Nvidia, OUCH, ATI get with the program!!!

Solidworks ATI still pathetic:

The "single card mislabeled as a five pack" from PC Connection trap is older than dirt. You'll just end up with one card and a big hassle on your hand arranging the return.
