Listed on the last page of their ad, which starts today. If you link from the ad, it takes you to the page for the 4.0 cu ft washer, WF209ANW, which pairs with the 7.3 cu ft dryer, DV209AEW, despite the ad saying something about a 3.7 cu ft washer (which Lowe's does not have in their inventory, model number is clearly listed on the ad). I remember this pair being the subject of some discussion awhile back because of how they compare with Sears' Samsung models with the 219 model number (comparing them online, the 209 actually seems to have more settings than the 219 but are otherwise comparable).

Anyway, this is $100 lower than the BF Sears Samsung deal, and $300 cheaper than the steam set coming up at BestBuy for BF, if you don't need steam. Should be able to combine with either 10% mover's coupon or 10% Military discount if you can find the first or qualify for the second, for $809.10 + tax with free next day delivery (no rebate required). Gas dryer available for $50 more.

Price is not showing up online so I'm guessing it's B&M only.

Saw these at the store today in Plano, TX. Is there really no difference between the 209 and the 219? The 219 shows to have the "sanitize" feature on the samsung web site, which made me think it might have an internal water heater...

That's the only difference between the two that I see on their site -- the 219 lists a sanitize feature. Their comparison feature is weirdly inconsistent for the two models.

Samsung cannot make a refrigerator (I can attest to that!) - not sure about their washer/dryers

Online reviews (literally hundreds) are overwhelmingly positive about their washers & dryers. I think they overproduced for the US market or something because there are so many insane promos for them right now.

i actually saw these yesterday when i went in to look for LG, not realizing the lowes/samsung-hd/lg ordeal, and saw the $898 when you buy both sign. retailed for $698 each i believe. might make a trip to the post office to see about a 10% off moving coupon since i'm out of them.

Someone over at SD confirmed that the 219 series washer has an internal water heater while this one (209) does not. Still a good deal given that it's nearly $200 cheaper than the Samsung BF deal at Sear's, assuming you don't absolutely need the internal heater.

I am the happy owner of both! Love them and have no complaints whatsoever except maybe that I didn't get the pedestals for the W/D so getting clothes in and out of them is a little bit of a pain.

What's so good about 'sanitize' and internal heater?

does anyone know how often they do deals like this on front load washers??

i seem to be seeing HD/Lowes put on sale these front loaders even before black friday.

reason i ask is my washer/dryer is still functioning (although not efficiently but i like the features of front loaders (less water, less drying time needed)

i would think that housing vacancies would play a huge part in Future (2010) sales/discounts of front load machines.

Deal confirmed in south-east PA.

I just picked up the pair at my local Lowes for $853 before taxes after using the 10% mover's coupon I picked up at the post office.

Washer was in stock, but the dryer will have to be delivered in a week or so (natural gas version).

Sanitize means that the water temp can go higher than normal. Some people want the feature for washing cloth diapers in particular, or if they work somewhere around biologicals (butcher, etc.). The internal heater makes that possible but also enables faster hot water availability -- no waiting for the water to makes its way from the tank in the basement. That's my understanding anyway. I'm not sure if machines account for the cold water in the line when prepping a load, particularly non-high end washers. Seems like a decent idea to me anyway, probably saves water.

i'll more than likely get these tonight or tomorrow. i considered the LG set for $699 at BB coming up sunday and the LG for $1000 at HD for 1 extra wash cycle, but this seems to be the better choice for me once you factor in the 10% movers coupon.

10% coupon AND the rebate you might be able to get from your energy company... I just looked and I can get a $100 rebate from buying this Samsung model! Thanks for posting... I will be going to Lowe's tomorrow So $698 for me!

energy co-op around here blows. i bought them anyway. delivering tomorrow. they're hauling off the rust bucket and moving my old dryer to the detached garage. only thing i have to set up is the dryer cord since it's still connected to the old dryer.

Picked them up today... thanks for the post! Even though the 10% coupon from the post office says it cannot be combined with any other discounts, they took it!

Did anyone else have to buy the hose and electric plug that took delivery? The salesman said they will only install with their new hoses/plugs. He said I could use my own plug but it would void the warranty!?! Oh well, it wasn't that much more, but just wasn't expecting it and seemed kinda weird.

i bought a new one just because my current one is the ol plastic type. was only 10 bucks.

the coupon can't be combined with other coupon discounts

I'm trying to decide between this and the HD/LG deal for ~$100 more. The LGs have the sanitize feature. Has anyone looked at both? I confirmed with my local HD they will take a Lowes 10% off coupon.

wierd...mine came with new hoses. If you check the owner's manual at the Samsung site, it shows that hoses are included.

See page 6 in the manual

you get the hoses with the washer, yes. what they will not do is remove your old dryer cord and use that on the new dryer. they will install it if you buy a new dryer cord from them. liability issue, i assume.

I finally got to look at the Samsung set at Lowes. The tub on the dryer is inferior to the LG. The LG washer spins a bit faster and has the heater. I believe the extended warranty at HD is a bit cheaper as well. I think the LG set is worth the extra $100.

Does anyone know what the price on the Electric dryer is by itself? I purchased a washing machine earlier and would like to get the dryer that matches it....

$698 each i believe

I wouldn't count on the Best Buy deal unless you want to stand in line about 24 hours to get the deal. A friend of mine told me that Best Buy had only like 3 sets to sell for B/F and the first in line gets those

Thanks for the heads up about the hoses and electric cord... I will make sure to let the installers know before they try and use the extras I purchased! Looks like I'll be doing a return trip for some money back...

Barely got in on this one. Had a heck of a time with the 10% Mover's coupon (had to go back to the store yesterday after the deal ended), but it worked after escalating to Customer Service, the Appliance Manager, and finally the Manager of Customer Service who did it without a problem. Delivered today and working great. Thanks OP!

I just went back into Lowe's today to measure the units and my store had a sign saying the sale is extended through 11/29! I have no clue if this is for all stores, but it definitely was for mine. So if you were interested in this, I would call or go to your Lowe's to check it out!
