I don't want to be seen as negative but yesterday I was browsing for some Levi's 514 and they had them for regular pice @ 49.99, now they say that they are regular for 68.00 and 49.99 it's the sale price...

They way you wrote that is not negative at all, just a report of your experience. Thanks for the input. At least they didn't raise the price to $68 due to a 20% off coupon! I hate when stores vary their prices at sale times though.

FRUSTRATED!!! Placed items in cart, entered SHOPEARLY and it kicked out free shipping. Items total $57 before shipping

Whenever this happens to me with any merchant, I call customer service and have them complete the order by phone. As long as you clicked the Cash Back link on the same day, you can still get it by submitting a request to FW and explaining what happened (after the mandatory waiting period has expired... they usually send you a reminder).

Thanks fivetalents

Maybe they fixed it, my order was $64, over $50 after the shop early discount, so it applied free shipping. Or maybe it had to be over $50 after the discount code

Well it isn't "Everything"..since basically they have taken most items of value completely off their web site. Green for OP...but typical bait and switch by a store. Things that were available on Thursday are no longer on the site at all. Coincidence? I think not.

I don't shop Kohls often so I didn't notice a difference. That's so dishonest and reduces my regard for retailers who do it. Thanks for your insights.

My observations are quite different. Items keep going in- and out-of stock at Kohls.com all the time, and it's not necessarily because of "bait and switch". Sometimes they do take certain items off the website if selling those at extra discount would result in a loss for them. This is fair practice, and not deceptional.

Macy's puts the exclusions on the coupon. Kohl's makes the exclusions unavailable. I much prefer Kohl's method because what you is what you CAN get. With Macy's, you get continually shot down with the coupon not being applicable. Endless frustration and waste of time.

That's an interesting point of view winton, and definitely something to think about.
