Fry's is selling LG 47LH50 47" 1080p 120hz LCD HDTV for $799 for another week starting today. I've got the ad from LAtimes. Funniest thing is that they are also selling LG 47LH30 for $999. I'd definitely go with 47LH50 that has 120Hz LCD HDTV w/ Yahoo, Youtube, Vudu, Netflix streaming, DLNA. Happy Shopping fellow fatwallet members!!!

Can you post links to it? Because the deal is not showing.
This is what I get for the LG 47LH50 47": http://www.frys.com/product/5915054?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
And this is for the LG 47LH30: http://www.frys.com/product/5897983?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

Is there a promo code or something?

B&M op said.. good tv for 799 Netflix streaming(if you have account) is pretty nice .. BUT....the 47LH50 has a VGA port though, so u can practically just hook up any computer easily anyways.. the 42" that was on sale for 650 last week didn't have one

Great deal. Deserves green. Sucks that I live in KY and there is no store anywhere near. Would totally go for it.

I bought this TV the first time, and it's great. Would definitely recommend it to any average consumer for this price!

I really wish Fry's would build some stores on the east coast. There are plenty of still empty CompUSA stores around...hint, hint...

Those CompUSA stores aren't big enough for a Fry's...

Went there and looked at the tv and left empty handed. Just do not think it is all that great. I prefer the Sony 60hz to the LG 120hz. The black levels are really not very good on this set.

I agree, I went to BestBuy yesterday and compared this LG with SAMSUNG 46B650 and Sony 46V5100 pretty much side by side and LG just didnt seem to have a sharp picture quality and the black levels were not very impressive either. All in all its a mediocre TV at a good price.

That isn't a fair comparison though as the TVs are likely not calibrated at all and you are viewing them in non-optimal conditions (you don't light your living room the same way BBY does their store).

What the hell is wrong with Frys in AZ? I've been waiting for a price drop for this specific TV for a darn long time, and last week the AZ stores had it for 899, and I just gave them a call today to learn now it's 1099... What the?

No go in Chicago area, 1099 in chicago

delete - dup.

no go in Fremont, CA. 1099 here too. probably a price mistake.

Is this the same 'major brand' 47" back in this morning's Fry's 8-page ad?
