For the time being New Sprint customers can get a Free Palm Pixi on Wirefly's Friends and Family Site. They tend to raise prices when a post goes up on FatWallet so jump on it while you can. They are only charging $49.99 for the device for Current Sprint Customers.
For all the Sprinters on FatWallet, I'm surprised so many of you are still clutching your SEROs and old plans so tightly...just get a Credit union discount(anyone can get 25% off with an alliant Credit Union discount) and get one of the new everything data family plans. I just made one and the 5 of us pay $30 a month including taxes and fees for unlimited data, text and we get the any mobile anytime as well, so the 1500 shared minutes are just for landlines! This way you can pay about the same as a SERO and you get access to the awesome new phones!
If you are on an old Sprint plan, like myself and contract is about to end and want to upgrade phones. Email Sprint and tell them you are not happy with having to switch plans and throw in that if you have to switch plans, you might as well switch carriers. I did and threatened to leave Sprint for ATT and get the iPhone. They took an additional $20 off a family plan with 2 phones, was offered the 129.99 plan at 109.99. And with my currecnt corp discount off 25% through Time Warner coulld get the plan for around $82. That is unlimited everything except mintues at 1500.

I checked the Alliant Credit Union Website. The current discount for Sprint is 10% off your monthly plan, with a $50 credit towards the purchase of equipment and additional phone added to plan for $9.99 instead of $19.99.

Soooo, you got the $129 data family everything plan + add on 3 phones - 2 of which are $20 extra per month, take off 25%, and then pay $30/month total? Or do you mean 5 x $30 = $150 total?

Has anyone had any experience with this retailer before?
Will I have to pay the $39 transfer fee since I am a current sprint customer?
Johnacon said: Has anyone had any experience with this retailer before?Read the tons of Fatwallet deal discussions re Wirefly. Lots of happy customers like me, but also lots of people who complain of having been burned by rebates some years ago (Wirefly has since changed ownership, old parent company went under in '07, the "new" Wirefly has no rebates on anything). Also some complaints about bad timing on number porting when switching carriers (like the phone number switching when the phone was still in FedEx's hands). I've had no bad experiences over the years (I have ported my number successfully, did get my rebates back in the day, and I have gotten a new phone through Wirefly every time I am eligible).

There is no way around that unless you use a different social security number to set up the new account.

The discount is applied to your ENTIRE BILL - but not the taxes and fees.
