Out of curiosity, is this really worth 2x the price of the BD370? ($130) at Newegg? What are the advantages except for Wifi? Wouldn't a PS3 be better at these price ranges?
i got my for 200 with a tv at bestbuy a week ago. sry!

The BD390 also has wi-fi connectivity and the ability to play/stream other video files as well, including divx and mkv. It's also one of the highest rated players on the market.
Would a PS3 be better? Only if you care about gaming.

Not really hard to do a froogle or pricegrabber search and come up with a couple of options for around $270 - $275 with free shipping and no tax. Your deal isn't very hot or even warm.....it's basically the average going price for the player any day of the week. Maybe it is slightly tepid if someone is living in a state with no sales tax.

The picture quality ratings for the 370 are not as good as for the 390 especially for DVD up-conversion. I don't care much for the wifi as I have a router right near my TV (for slingbox). I have also been following 390 since last week and was glad to see the price drop by 40 at BB. I hope the price is in-store too and they accept a 10% coupon on top of it, which would make the deal around 234.

The 390 also has analog 7.1 sound output, so if you don't have a home theater receiver with hdmi, you can still get Dolby 5.1 or 7.1 sound.

i got mine at bestbuy with the sale this week 259.99, and i use the 10% coupon on here, the store let me used it.anyway the store gave me an early xmas present . with taxes i walk out of the door for only 159.28 YEP LG BD390

Sorry bkkbroiler, the math isn't working out right for me. 10% off puts your price in the $234 ballpark. $159.XX is about 39% off. Did you use gift cards or something?
