Looks like a good deal OP.

Bestbuy has it for 1 cent cheaper - let the war begins....!

Stay away from plasma... HD LCD LED 240MHZ way better... Buy beware

Nice try Nicky, but we don't play those games here.

Sears has an LG 50" plasma for $734 right now for pick up --- includes VGA input --- this one does not

Does this one has any way to connect with a computer?

not with VGA --- so you have to have a computer that has a regular video out or HDMI

LOL , guess you've never owned a plasma before ; and LED LCD's are 3-4X the cost atm .

As long as your computer has a DVI connection to hook a monitor up to, you can get a $5 DVI-to-HDMI cable and hook it up to almost any HDMI-equipped TV. Most Macs, desktops and many laptops have this capability.

Good call stereo55, that's like comparing a Sentra to a Jaguar and getting mad the sentra is not as flashy!

Looks like same price at best buy on same/similar model.

uninformed and ignorant people shouldn't be allowed to spew lies like this
plasma is indeed the way to go for critical viewing, sports and action scenes, although I would pick a different plasma than this company
LCD suffers motion blurring(thats why they need to do things like 240MHZ)and terrible off axis viewing, inferior blacks and a host of other problems
even at 3-4x the cost LCD is inferior to a good plasma set............I own both types and there is absolutely no comparison

Newer expensive LCDs are 2ms (240Hz) panel refresh. Plasmas use 600 Hz Sub-field Motion and .002ms refresh (1000x faster).

LCDs are so bad they have to use motion tech to slow the image so it doesn't blur as badly.

The soap opera effect.
