I just ordered Nikon d3000 + 55-200mm VR lens at Amazon = $576 shipped.
I consider this is a much better deal than BB BF because in BB we have pay $40 tax and total will comes to around $640.
I found the bag costs $30. So we can still save about $35-$40 depending on the location.

Figures, I bought it last night at 609....now I have to worry about trying to get the price difference back. Sent a customer service email....suggestions? is it better to call?

i just ordered d3000 from Newegg for ~510 shipped tax free. same as Amazon 460 + ny tax. Newegg > Amazon

i've found that if the item hasn't shipped yet, they will give you the price difference back.

if you don't want to chance it, you can always just cancel the order and re-buy it.

I think all of the lenses sold by Amazon are OOS... the ones you see are from other sellers

Thanks..that helped. The issue was the D300 cam was coming from electronics expo instead of Amazon. I switched it Amazon and it worked. I'm still hesitant on my order as I'm hoping for some price wars this week....
