http://www.amazon.com/Uncle-Milton-Ind-Inc-Microscope/dp/B0017T5DKK Last year there was a similar deal on a "Planet Earth" microscope with USB camera. It looked like a great deal online. It was 50% or more off regular price. Ordered several for Christmas gifts to kids in the family. Very low quality when we got them. Could hardly see the images, on-screen video quality was even worse. I think they all ended up in the trash. If you want to get your young scientist a microscope, you're prob better off buying a good quality used on on eBay (only buy with money back guarantee).

I wouldn't trust it. The Uncle Milton ant farm has been receiving horrible reviews: Amazon reviews
