Any difference between items 469125 and 469115? Both have the same description (except for KVR667D2SO/1GR vs. KVR667D2/2GR)and price. I am looking for my Dell mini9, not sure which one is better.

The 469115 is desktop RAM.

Is the RAM 2 x 1GB or 1 x 2GB?

The model numbers don't match up: KVR667D2SO/1GR and KVR667D2SO/2GR.

The one with SO in the number is notebook, the other is desktop (wrong pic tho desktop one) - same price. It is 1X2GB.

Define "a little while ago".

RAM is a commodity that fluctuates in price over time - generally it gets less expensive, but there are still peaks and valleys in pricing.

Recently the trend has been for RAM to increase in price (the last few months) since RAM suppliers cut back on production in the face of the global recession.

Also, it depends a great deal on what type of RAM (DDR2, DDR3, etc) and the packaging (DIMM, SO-DIMM, etc).

The system RAM is definitely more of a warmish deal vs the usb sticks, however I just figured to mention it as well in case people were in the need for it. Still its a decent discount, but yes maybe after the Win7 buying rush cools down there may or may not be a surplus in notebook memory, etc...guess it depends on the market.

yeah, it was still DDR2 5300 667, 2x2GB. But, I did not know that RAM prices had actually risen, but I cannot imagine that is more than about 5-7%, not 10%. But, deals do come and go. Personally, I'd wait for another 25$ AR deal for RAM, I know that is a GREAT deal, but I could wait. I think this type of RAM is going to get cheaper even for a while, since the new MBP's and others are using higher Mhz. RAM.
