While they're calling it a Black Friday deal, these 540-or-so MP3 albums for $5/each are available NOW. Link to 500+ MP3 albums for $5/each here P.S. If you didn't see it already, there's a $3 free MP3 code, as posted in this thread. P.P.S. A quick heads up: it's not yet available (won't be till Nov. 25) and currently has no price, but it turned up in the list of 500+ albums--almost 12 hours of Tchaikovsky from X5--one of their "99 Most Essential Masterpieces" series, with many complete pieces this time, including The Nutcracker, The Seasons, six symphonies and various concertos (including the well-known Concerto #1 in B-flat Minor). Also, single tracks like Marche Slav and the 1812 Overture (last track). [The Swan Lake Suite appears to only have 4 of the 6 parts, but, again, it looks like most of the longer pieces are complete, as compared to the earlier Beethoven and Mozart compilations, which were very piecemeal]. They started doing the complete-piece thing with their 5 hour "99 Most Essential Masterpieces" Vivaldi (which, btw, is one of the $5 albums--and quite good--link to Vivaldi). Assuming the Tchaikovsky comes in at $5 too, as seems likely, with the $3 code, you'll be able to get it for $2. (And, if it ends up a Daily Deal, as these classical things often do, you might be able to get it for free...but this is speculative--getting the Vivaldi for $2 using the code, though, is not--you can do that today). |
