My local McDonald rep states that "The iced coffee is special mcbrewed from the regular hot coffee that is sold. The iced coffee is double mcstrength, or double mccoffee bagged."

I do this all the time. Especially with the BK Mocha Joe which is super sweet. The only thing that peeves me is that a lot of Thai restaurants will only fill your cup half-way or charge you more for Thai Ice Tea w/o ice.

It's VERY warm when ordered this way. Also, the amount of cream they normally use is the same, so the proportion is kind of off.
