I have this 2TB drive, and have been very impressed. I wasn't expecting much from a "no-name" brand, but I picked it up on Black Friday for this price. It's been strong since. It sees significant use as a backup drive, probably rotating in a new 30-40 gigs a day, every day since I hooked it up. No issues yet. It spools up and spins down automatically based on usage, which I was happy to see (and hear, as it may be).
There's a Hitachi Deskstar inside mine, and I've seen others are getting them as well. Transfers through my Airport Extreme have been significantly faster than the drive I was previously using, but I haven't done any tests at full USB2.0 speeds.
