Shipping is shipping. Sometimes I feel there is no way to avoid these charges. Even at 1 dollar a pound I think it's a pretty good deal. I mean, hell, if you were to buy gummi worms at a convenience stores, you may get 4oz for a dollar.

Also, shipping to Bakersfield, CA is only $7.39.

I agree with wiReZ. This is a pretty good deal even with shipping.

Go to any candy store that charges per pound, and its like 1.25 per 1/4th lb!

I'm totally getting 2 of these. It's only 8.25 shipped for me..... wish they did local pickup though

i've seen these at CVS for near $1/lb (store brand, but it's all the same). Also Sams Club & Costco should have these for around $1/lb.

unfortunately, costco does not carry sour gummy worms. they are typically $1.79/lb at meijer.
