Ahhh remember the good ol' days when one hundred foot extension cords were one hundred feet long?
Now they've gone to the new "fun size", eighty foot extension cords.

Is this indoor only? I need a heavier guage outdoor cord after my wife burned up her last electric leaf blower using a cheap 100ft cord.

This is an indoor / outdoor cord.

Is this the sale price or was it just a new lower price type of deal? With copper being cheaper then 2 years ago you would think cords would have dropped a lot more in price.

Just saw a 50% of one item under $30 from ACE @ http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/969668/. If you print the coupon at with really nice color printer and paper, you might be able to get Home Depot to accept the coupon. If so, the price comes out to $13.94.

I believe this is the regular price.

Eluo good eye! I might give this a try and or just go to ace, 50% off isn't too shabby.

edit: just checked on ace.com and there cord is 31.99, lol. Just out of range for using this coupon

Hmm. I just purchased 4x 100 feet 12/3 extension cords from costco. Think they were $26 each.

Thanks for this better price alternative for those that have Costco memberships and need the extra 20'. FWIW, the included Husky 2' 12/3 tri tap cost $9.97 if bought separately. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xr5/R-100661429/h_d2/Prod...

Thanks for that costco tip.

Best for outdoor equipment is a 12 guage cord with 15 amps.. They can be found on Fleabay for $29.99 shipped for 100 feet with end that light up to show the wire is "Alive" ..

Linky Doo Doo

My local costco also has the 100 foot cord, best deal around
