This phone f'ing *SUCKS*. I'm developing on one for my employer at the moment. Make sure you have a look at it before you order it. The hardware is nice but WinMo just blows.

I had 4 curves die on me in 5 months...1 couldn't dial 800 numbers, a second keypad died on vacation, a third died a month later couldn't get a signal and a fourth had to be hard reset every day in order to do data xfer. Verizon sent me a Storm as a replacement and it is HORRIBLE, the processor is so slow that if I'm not actively using the phone it will miss calls before it responds to keypad to answer it. A year into my contract and I would just assume punch myself in the balls as buy another Blackberry product.

Could you be more specific? I'm thinking of getting one so that I could access POP3 mail, use MS Office & install iGo GPS (the best GPS app, imo).

I have this phone for about 3 months now. I paid $100 for it. I didn't like it first but after few months, I am ok with it. The processor is kind of slow for the touch screen part (compares to iPhone 3gs). But it has everything you need, email, MS Office, GPS. I like the Opera browser than the IE. The nice features of HTC TP2 is the QWERTY keyboard, its easier and faster for text message and email. It came with Windows Mobile 6.1, hope T-Mobile will have the 6.5 to download soon.
I have an htc tmobile shadow (2009) with WinMo 6.1. It sucks. Reception is crap and the phone is buggy. Even when I have wifi enabled at home with my Tmobile hotspot router, I often cannot answer calls and get an error that a wireless radio is required. From time to time it locks up and you have to remove the battery to reset it.
