good looking deal. although i wouldnt call Amazon list price of $80 a "normally" price. IMHO, anyone who pays list price on pretty much anything at Amazon is not "normal"
Got me a copy, and plus you can get your free month of prime through the purchase - well, perhaps it's available for other things but the account I used has already been through 3 months of free prime, and this will be great for Christmas.
Green for OP. My kids ought to enjoy this book.

The Oxford World Atlas is top notch and this is an amazingly good price for it. I saw it for $40 at my local bookstore last year and would have jumped on it at that price if I didn't already have it.
I would, of course, suggest supplementing it with this atlas (also excellent) to get the full story:
Got an older version that looks brand new from half Price Book store for $2.00. My 3rd grader loves it.

You can get the deluxe version, 560+ pages and slip cover, at a 65% discount from the retail $175 price direct from Oxford University Press. Total price, with shipping is just above $65 ... Link

Perhaps u should look at the item.. This was published "(October 1, 2009)"
You are talking about an old edition
my bad. didn't know that soviet russia had taken over Estonia and portions of the Ukraine since then.
The world has changed (and still is) so rapidly that it's hard knowing which atlas and edition to buy. Not to mention finding the best price. This deal really is a great value. My most recent atlas is over twenty years old, so I needed a new one. The atlas experts seem to agree there are better, but very expensive, alternatives. But unless you're lucky enough to stumble upon a great sale at a bookstore, or a good used copy of something, you won't find anything better at anywhere near this price.
Thanks OP. This would make an ideal gift for practically anyone.
