There were problems a couple of years ago with Antec Neo power supplies not being compatible with some motherboards, and the "void if removed" seals were broken because of a manufacturer mistake. Antec wrongly blamed customers for that, but Antec did honor their warranties, sometimes only after complaints.
I had no issues with a warranty exchange for an Antec Smartpower PSU. In fact, got a new Earthwatts 380W in exchange.
The Earthwatts 380W used to sell for $9.99AR and less a couple years ago, and $29.99 without rebate. Antec deals went to crap after the rebate processing company they used went bankrupt last year and they became rebate-shy and stopped offering them. Glad to see Antec has ventured back into rebates, and hopefully retailers will start running the same kind of deals they used to have in the past. I see Antec is handling rebates in-house now. Rebates going to Fremont or City of Industry, CA are usually ones to avoid, but hopefully Antec will come through.
